Chair, cocoa... what's the latest project? Did I knit from my stash?... or slip and buy some yarn?

I've completed several furry scarves for the church bazaar. Several more are on needles.
I finished the vest for Kant. I'll post pix after I convince the camera to download. The cream colored baby blanket has gone to Ohio.
I'm going to start working on the sleeves for skully from the Stitch & Bitch book. I've stopped buying yarn for a while... The stash is too big.. I need to knit it smaller.

Yep, I've neglected the blog some more. Last Friday, a miserable day at work, forced me to seek out a new LYS. I'm fortunate. I work near a delightful shop names Keepsakes (Carmel, Indiana). Near Indianapolis' downtown is a shop called Mass Avenue Knit Shop (not on Mass Ave, by the way...)
This latest shop is Stitches 'n Scones. I didn't find scones.. but found plenty of stitches. The selection is wider than Keepsakes. The staff a bit less judgmental. http://www.stitchesnscones.com/index.html They didn't hover while I fondled yarn... envied buttons, or gathered needles. Their back wall is the sale rack... 30% off. That was fine with me. But they also have a deal where you buy a bag (nice roomy, navy blue - $15) that you get future purchases for 10% off.
Of course I got a bag, a couple sets of circs, four sets of dpns, several skeins of sock yarn.. including some lovely black with vivid color specks. For Kant (the rat)'s vest, I purchased a "blue blood red" wool, and Debbie Bliss Denim yarn... in black & white. One will blend nicely with his fur, the other will accent his form. The teen wants me to get a small pocket watch for the red vest. We'll see what happens. The pix should be cute. And from the reaction of the woman who rang up my purchases.. she'll want to see the picture... Well, her actual comment was " Well that's a first...." I suppose many people buy scarf yarn, sock yarn and baby yarn for boring things... scarves, socks, and babies...
Speaking of stash enrichment.... I got a box from Herrschners... a dozen skeins of green soft yarn.. , TLC in Forrest Green for a future vest. and too many skeins of Tickle... various solid colors for scarves this year... Hence the need for circular needles, so I can make looonnnngggg stripes.
Lunch is over. Time to work.
